The departure from your hotel will be around 10:00 A.M. and the first stop will be in King Michael I Park (the largest one in Bucharest) and here you will visit the wonderful Dimitrie Gusti Village Museum. This is an ethnographic museum that contains 272 authentic (extremely well preserved ) peasant farms and houses from all over Romania, built in the last 10 century. Another important monument in Bucharest is nearby the Village Museum – Bucharest Arch of Triuph.
The next stop will be in Mogosoaia, where you will visit Mogosoaia Palace, built by Constantin Brancoveanu between 1698 and 1702, in a unique brancovenesc style.
From Mogosoaia we will take the Victory Boulevard in Bucharest and we will stop in the Revolution Square where you can see the extraordinary Romanian Athenaeum, The Royal Palace and also the exact place where the Romanian Revolution started back in 1989.
Next you will have time for an excellent lunch at your choice in the beautifull Old Downtown, that is very well preserved and offers you a lot of choices of restaurants, bars and shops.
Last stop , before you will be brought back to the hotel will be The Parliament House , that use to be called in the communist time “The House of People “. The Parliament House is the biggest building in Europe and the second one in the World, after Pentagon.
